Did NASA just admit the sun heats the earth???

NASA spokeswoman Beth Dickey confirmed with SPACE.com earlier today that the reason UARS is expected to fall early in its re-entry window is because of the sharp uptick in solar activity. Solar effects from the sun can create an extra drag on satellites in space because they can heat the Earth's atmosphere, causing it to expand, agency officials have said.

The indoctrination

I've been telling my kids for years now to tell me when the schools bring up global warming. It happened today in 6th grade. Did you know that the glaciers are melting and we're to blame? I didn't until my kid told me so. He was laughing when he told me, though. Do these people keep up on current events, even algore is in hiding. I suspect that Cancun will have it's coldest temps in years due to the warming convention.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

So school started yesterday. My mom told me that you always knew when school started because it was usually the hottest day of the year. I think it was somewhere around 67 or so with a forecast of 64 for tomorrow. It may even drizzle. I guess the gloom didn't go away (as predicted). Either way, I prefer it cooler to warmer so no complaints. Let's see what algore has to say about this. Did I mention that the cool we feel now is certain to continue through winter?

Brrrr, it's a cold July

It's been a while since my last post...that's only because my fingers have been too frostbitten to type. This is the coldest July I can remember, however this July does bring back a memory. When I was around 10 or 12 or so I remember a year where the gloom never seemed to go away. That same year we went to the beach and tons and tons of little dead red crabs floated up on shore. We were somewhat grossed out by this mainly due to the sheer volume of them so it really stayed with me. I'm wondering if we'll see a return of that this year? I told my wife at the end of June that June gloom wasn't over and lately I've realized that this year in San Diego is one without a summer. Our garden just won't really get going, there's been no heat but for 4 days last weekend. Let's see what happens.

Humans save species...HOW CAN THAT BE?

Global warming lunatics blame humans for the melting of the polar ice caps thus opening the northwest passage. But, apparently, this passage allowed George to return to the Atlantic. Let's just hope Gracie finds him. Or was that humpbacks. Either way they're a pack of idiots.

April shower bring really cold weather

It's been three months since my last post. I think it's colder now than it was back then. 50 degrees when I took the kids to school this morning, hail through the evening and cold showers all day long. I think there's snow in the forecast for the mountains. Warming? Enough said on that.
Oh yeah, that's all for San Diego.
