Posts on slowdown, maybe hold

No one reads this but me, but the posts will slow down or temporarily cease due to personal reasons. Let's hope we don't freeze too badly in the mean time.

Too late, They froze.

Sit back and watch

So far most all of my posts have been very cynical of AGW and it's crazy followers. However, the best thing we skeptics can do over the next few weeks and months is sit back and watch. These bums got caught and they know it. AGW is going down and those bums are going with it.

global warming cools

Read this short article and notice that there isn't even mention of "man made". More Americans are jumping ship on the warming.

Nicest first day of school I could remember

Has anyone noticed that the first day of school here in San Diego is usually one of the hottest days of the year? My kids start up right after Labor Day as did I. This year had to be the nicest I could remember, almost autumn like. I guess we did have our fair share of super hot days at the end of August, though. I'm sure the econuts will harp on that and not the fact that otherwise this has been the third summer in a row with beautiful temperatures.
Is anyone reading this yet?

One must travel to Seattle to be globally warmed

It seems as if the justification for New York's absence of a summer this year is that all the warming went to Seattle:
"William D. Solecki, a geography professor at Hunter College of the City University of New York and co-chairman of a mayoral panel on climate change, warned that this summer’s unusually mild temperatures should not buoy global warming skeptics.
“Ask them to visit Seattle,” he said, where a record temperature of 103 was recorded on Wednesday. "

Anyone else (us skeptics) would ask why the Pacific Northwest is warm and conclude that the El Nino phenomenon is the cause and also conclude that the earth is cooling now due to decreased sunspot activity. Has anyone noticed that their case now rests on so called record temperatures? Remember one of my previous posts where I addressed this? These flat-earthers seem to not remember record trends which are much more significant when developing averages and predictions.

Here's another quote that made me chuckle:
"Scientists believe the shift is connected with the temperature of the oceans and their pattern of heating and cooling the atmosphere but, Mr. Gadomski said, “our understanding of how a persistent pattern locks in isn’t very good.”

Chicago's coldest summer yet

Looks like Obama and his Commie "associate" homeys are chillin good in Chicago. Now I know that last sentence has nothing to do with the weather...I guess I acted stupidly, too.

El nino is coming El nino is coming!!!

Looks like Noaa has some empirical evidence for what we were all thinking here in San Diego.

"The Pacific had been in what is called a neutral state. But forecasters at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration say the sea surface temperature climbed to 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit above normal along a narrow band in the eastern equatorial Pacific in June"

Isn't this true for the whole country?

http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=OKX

This is from NOAA. It's getting harder and harder to hide what the weather is really doing. Did anyone check to see if algore was there?

San Diego had it's coldest June that i remember. June gloom is still lingering as i write this. I'm a little concerned that la Nina caused this and that we will be in for a doozey of an el Nino this winter.
We'll see.

OK, I'm at it again

So some guys I know just got back from San Felipe, Mexico. Normally this time of year the water is around 80 degrees and the air temp is around 95 at least. They came back with stories of it being 85 degrees max down there. The locals couldn't stop talking about how unusual this is.
My wife and I got back from Palm Springs last week and the tram station at the 8,500 foot mark read a high of 48 degrees. This is almost 20 degrees cooler than normal.

Is anyone paying attention?

Has anyone looked at the headlines across the country?

The sun cools, the Earth cools. Period.

One year and counting

I guess I'm probably the only one reading my blog but who cares. Woo Hoo...it's been one year since the first post and creation of the Hands Across the Glacier blog.
NOW GO FIND A WAY TO WARM THIS PLACE UP.

Maybe there should be a debate...

If that dufas said the debate was over then how come so many are still debating. Maybe no one let him know where they were meeting.
Check this out. I guess the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seems to think we might be cooling. This ought to have algore steaming mad.

On the Brink of Climatic Disaster: the Coming Ice Age

A nice article from our friends at the John Birch Society. It seems as if more and more articles are surfacing citing the numerous scientists not falling for the AGW theories of algore. It wasn't until recently that I even knew what AGW meant...al gore wackos.

Is anyone starting to see a cold trend here?

I guess they had to cancel the dog sled race in Minnesota. Here's the link. THERE WAS TOO MUCH SNOW and it was too fluffy to make a trail. It's too fluffy because it's too darn cold. Somebody check...did algore just visit there?

How Al Gore Saved Christmas

Very funny story on algore's trip to Toronto resulted in the most snow since the mid 1,800's by Steve McIntyre of climateaudit.org

Great essay on the global scam

This is a great article from the Huffington Post (can you believe it?) I think a read of this should give plenty of ammo to fire at the mongers.

Frozen busses won't start

So the cold Christmas break left 5o busses unable to start for the first day of school in SAN DIEGO. Yet another thing the mongers will have to wiggle out of.

http://weblog.signonsandiego.com/news/breaking/2009/01/some_bus_delays_for_sd_unified.html

Then and now...THE ICE CAME BACK

Does anyone remember the sea ice melting and the poor drowning polar bear? Here's a link: http://www.latimes.com/news/science/environment/la-me-polar15-2008may15,0,1220040.story

Or how about the shipping lanes being open by the end of the century?? http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/02/0225_050225_arctic_landrush.html

Well now he's freezing his frosty butt off again: Sea Ice Ends Year at Same Level as 1979

This poses some very serious problems for the warming mongers. How do you convince people we're warming due to our bad habits but the second the sun slows it's activity the ice freezes at the fastest rate ever recorded. Better get ready for a cold year.
